Romantic Post Wedding Session at the Montreal Botanical Garden

September 9, 2018

Valeria + Daniel

It couldn’t get dreamier than this, at least for me. I am a big fan of plants, trees and flowers so when Valeria asked me if I wanted to capture their post-wedding photos, I was so happy.

Valeria and Daniel had their engagement photos taken at the Montreal Botanical garden too (by me) and I guess this place had us come back a few month later for a gorgeous session between golden and blue hour.

Montreal Botanical Garden

The garden is soooo big that I don’t think I even have had the chance to actually see everything. I keep coming back every year during spring and time just so I can get my fix of peonies and roses. The greenhouses are also amazing and I guess I cannot get tired capturing couples in love there. I even had not idea that it was recognized as one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens, with about 22,000 plant species, 20 thematic gardens spread out over 75 hectares!

Pretty little details

Valeria and Daniel both have this eye for details and appreciation of image and film (they both work in related creative fields :)) It is no surprise that they brought the most beautiful details to their wedding session: invitation set (look at this golden wax steal stamp!!), a gorgeous dress with tulle and dentelle, the most gorgeous bouquet (with tones of white and cream) and a custom-made alliances so that the wedding and engagement rings can be attached together!

Post-wedding photography session in Montreal

Sometimes, the wedding day does not allow a lot of time to get a couple session. Sometimes, you prefer spending this precious time with your loved ones rather than having to take an hour of photos and leaving you guests alone. Whatever the reason is, a post-wedding session could be a could idea for some couples to take their wedding photos, after the wedding 🙂

My goal is to capture all of the intimate and real moments on your special day. From the soft shoulder kisses to the fun belly laugh from your fiance telling a you a joke. I make sure to capture the candid moments that you may think are going unnoticed. Every wedding is just as important as the next, and I take pride (and I am grateful) when couples choose me to document one of the most important days of their life.
