Everything you need to know
A signed e-contract and a 30% deposit fee are due up front to save your date, with a remaining balance due in full 30 days prior to your big day. Accepted payment options include major credit cards, e-transfer, paypal, check (Canada) and Cash.
Absolutely! I LOVE to travel and would usually arrive at least the day before (preferably even earlier) your big day just to ensure that any unexpected delays do not make me miss your big day. I live for travel and can help you finding cheap flights and figuring out the travel logistics. Also, I have a sweeeeeet deal if your country or region is on my bucket list, so do not hesitate asking!
It is typically 12 to 18 months in advance, as soon as you have a date and venue. For winter and/or off season dates, I could have date available a few weeks before so do not hesitate to ask.
A: There is no charge for travel within 100kms of Montreal city (ZIP CODE H3C). For weddings outside of this area, I will plan something out with you so we can find the most appropriate travelling options (whether it is a flight or a drive with my car).
My turn around time for weddings is 4 weeks but it go up to 6 weeks during summer months. Do not worry, I will send you a sneak peak within 48h. Engagement sessions turnaround is 2 weeks.
I deliver your edited high-resolution photos on a private online gallery (protected by a password). This gallery will stay live for a year and can be shared with family and friends.
The amount of photos depends greatly on your day but I will be able to give you about 50 to 75 images per hour of coverage.
Absolutely! I have 3 full frame camera (Nikon), backup lenses, batteries and chargers. I also bring my awesome second shooter (full frame Nikon as well) for another great bunch of photographs (and another pair of eyes!). We shoot with camera with “dual slots”, meaning that it contains 2 SD cards inside. When a photo is taken, it goes straight to these 2 cards!
As far as the insurance is concerned, any wedding professional you hire for your big day should be able to present you one!
I try to keep my post-production genuine, meaning that I would usually stay away from Photoshop. My edits happen mainly in Lightroom (another wonderful software from Adobe), where I would apply my secret recipe (+ adjust tones, composition and contrast).
With that being said, I would do a minimal retouching, removing small blemishes and bag under eyes on close-ups images.
Shall you want to get a more advanced post-production (removing objects from the background, changing the size of a body part, adding objects to a background, ect…), I charge an hourly fare for the custom post-production, depending on the complexity of the project.
You do! You receive the full printing rights to your images. This means you can get them reproduced any way you like and can share them on all of your social media accounts. As per the Canadians Copyright Act for photographers , I however still retain the copyright.
I do! I offer high quality fine art books (handmade in Canada), printed on fine art enhanced matte paper, for a beautiful smooth and timeless look. Contact me to know all options available.
Of course. It is even recommended so we can discuss your wedding plans and see if you like my energy 🙂 Also, coffee/tea/whateverYouFancy is on me:) If we live too far away from each other or have scheduling conflicts, we can plan a phone call or a skype session!
Yes! Another set of eyes means different angles and more photos 🙂 My second shooter is amazing, and included in the price!
