Marie + Olivier
Traditional Catholic Ceremony at La Visitation Church in Montreal
I had the honor of capturing Marie and Olivier’s wedding vows during their traditional catholic ceremony, held at the oldest church on the Island of Montreal. It is a beautiful space, classified as a historic monument since 1974. The ceremony was beautiful and capturing Marie’s tears of emotion is absolutely priceless 🙂
Colorful Fall Reception at Pavillon de la Jamaïque (Jean Drapeau)
Marie and Olivier spared no efforts to make this autumn Friday one of the most beautiful fall wedding of Montreal. I visited them at the pavillon the day before to scout the surroundings and noticed that the autumn foliage was at its peak, with golden/orange and red leaves everywhere. Pretty incredible and lucky (most of the leaves were on the ground the next day!).
The couple designed the space by themselves with the help of their loved ones 🙂 I was also very happy to learn that they chose Les Filles Fattoush as their wedding caterer, a social economy project created by and for Syrian refugees women in need of Canadian work experience and a social circle. Let me tell you, not only the initiative is amazing, everyone seemed to love it (YAS, the mezzes were absolutely DELISH!)
